In part 2 of odysseus how would the scene be different if Argus were younger and vigorious?

Ashley you have posted three different versions of this question!

One: Reread the passage

Two: If you dont own a dog ask someone who does own a dog how an elderly hound (Argus is a hunting dog so a hound) would behave differently from a young dog.In part 2 of odysseus how would the scene be different if Argus were younger and vigorious?
definitely

and we would lose

one of the great scenes

of literature

there is a japanese version

of this mythological motif

but is a true story

there is a statue to a dog

who greeted his master

everyday when he returned

home on the train

and when this man

went away to fight

in world war two

the dog continued

to go down to the train station

and wait for his master

to return home

but he never did

because he was killed in action

the dog remained faithful

until its own death
