Argus' are aaaangry little guys, well, big guys. They rarely are tamable. They need at LEAST twice his length in cage, but I wouldnt go any smaller than 4x4x4. They are very fast, very strong, will climb rite up your leg clawing away, and are always food aggressive. Not recommended for beginners, or intermediate herpers either. Im thinking of getting a argus monitor...?
wow i actually agree with "vet student " for once. argus are like mini niles (if 4 feet is mini) the only thing is the cage size. 4 x 4 x 4 is way to small for an active species like an argus. 8 x 6 x 6 is a much more appropriate size.
