Argus monitor Question?

ok over the weekend i was at a reptile shelter and the guy that runs it says i can feed my argus monitor hot dogs. Is it safe and if so Wouldnt it be too fatty for her?Argus monitor Question?
Argus monitors are opportunistic hunters and are known to eat almost anything. Ideal foods are; mice, rats, crickets, superworms, beef heart, and hard boiled eggs. A mixed diet of these food items four to five times per week is ideal and will ensure proper growth and health.Argus monitor Question?
I really wouldn't do it. It wouldn't kill her if you did it once, but they are very fatty and not good for them.
