Many of the cheapo TLR cameras do have screens without lines.
But consider this, if you use one without lines then it looks like just another picture. The lines definitely show that you took the picture through the viewfinder of a camera. Incorporate the lines into the composition occasionally. That's fun too.

Final Fantasy 3 Medusa or Argus?
I currently have what seems to be 2 storys on at the same time, i'm able to go into the owen tower and fight Medusa (i know how to get ot her etc...) but i've tried twice and both times i've been beaten, what is the best type of team to go up against her?
Next I've spoken to the people in that destroyed village and i was in the west desert to them and I can see a tornado thing but how do i meet the Argus army and rescue the villagers?Final Fantasy 3 Medusa or Argus?

first of don't do drugs OK, I don't know things are in AK, but come to Detroit, you will make more money here in Detroit than AK. The best times are right before the tigers play and after they play. you can hook right in front of the ballpark, and not get arrested. The main streets for hooking here are Woodward right in front of the ballpark, van Dyke, Gratoit and of course 8 mile rd.
If you are lucky enough you can become the mayor's prime hooker. The rates differ on differ corners so I don't know much for sure probably at 25 a pop.. you will defiantly make it here in Detroit because you will be a whole prettier than the regular hookers.

I'm about to buy a 35mm in a few days and I have no idea how to tell which lens will fit a certain 35 mm camera.
For example, how do I know if a 80mm lens will fit a Argus C-3? Just an example of what I'm trying to explain, hope it helped.(beginner question) How do you know which lens will fit a 35mm camera?
You have to make sure the 'lens mount' is compatible with the make/model camera you have - any lens you purchase would have to be designed to fit an Argus C-3 camera (not a Nikon, or Canon, or Pentax, etc.). Lenses for that camera attach differently than the bayonet style mounts.
That doesn't mean the lens must be manufactured by the same company as the camera body you own or purchase. Just that the mount is compatible with the C-3 so your lens can be screwed on to your camera body.
For a standard lens, there's the Argus Coated Cintar 50mm f3.5. The German-made Sandmar 100mm f4.5 is the most commonly used telephoto lens for the C-3. But, Soligor of Japan also made a telephoto lens for the C-3 (135mm f4.5). There's also a Sandmar wide angle 35mm f/4.5 lens for the C-3.
You may want to get in touch with members of the Argus Collector's Group (or check out their website) if you're serious about buying one of these range-finder cameras.

If you buy a Nikon camera, you'll need a lens with a Nikon F-mount. If you buy a Canon, you'll need a lens with the correct Canon mount (Canon used several mounts through their lifetime). Pentax, you'll generally need a Pentax K-mount...etc. A lot of "off brands" (ie not Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Olympus) used the Pentax K-mount because of lens availability and commonality.
I'm not personally familiar with the Argus C-3 so I can't offer any help there, but I'd suggest going with a more common brand - it'll make your life a lot easier if you have to look for a F-Mount, K-mount or Canon lens than to find something for an obscure brand. There are also many 3rd party lens makers that make lenses in the 3 or 4 most popular brand's mount.

I bought 12 of them for the baseball team I coach. All of the kids were thrilled and they thought the camera was great. I checked out the one that my son got, and I was very pleasantly pleased. The screen is decent, and the camera takes good pictures. There is a slight delay between pictures, but for the price it seems in line. It seems rugged enough and with a 1 year warranty I think its good.Is the argus bean camera good?
No personal experience yet but, the company I work for just made the decision to purchase several hundred for employees to use in field work.

So I have an interest in film photography and I've been looking at 35mm film cameras for a while now. I have boiled down my choices to either getting the Pentax K1000 or the Argus C3. Which of the two do you think would be best for a beginner photographer to purchase?Pentax k1000 or Argus C3?

The best substrate for an argus monitor is dirt. Just plain dirt. Why? Argus monitors really like to dig. That's what they are good at, and they love to practice their trade. In particular, covering the entire cage with dirt lets the argus monitor digs its own burrow just where the conditions are best. A burrow in dirt is the best possible hiding spot for an argus, because not only does it provide security, but it allows the monitor to use the burrow for water conservation and thermoregulating like a monitor would naturally do in the wild.
The trick is, it has to be deep enough to make a good burrow in, 30 to 60 cm of dirt seems to work just fine. In addition, there are good dirts and bad dirts. Argus monitors prefer a sandy dirt, other monitor species like different kinds of dirt and some of them can be awfully particular about it. Some people are lucky enough that they can just go out in their back yards and dig up dirt for their monitors. When I tried this, the dirt quickly turned into a fine dust everywhere that it didn't get wet, and became a reeking sticky oozy paste everywhere it did get wet. If you can't get dirt from your backyard, you have two options: dig it up somewhere else and haul it back, or buy it. If you are going to haul it, you'll need at least a pickup truck bed's full of dirt for a typical argus enclosure. If you are going to buy it, you can mix together about 12 50 lb bags of playsand with 12 40 lb bags of topsoil for something that works reasonably well for an 8' x 4' enclosure, if you buy the right topsoil. Unfortunately, topsoil probably varies quite a bit from vendor to vendor and from region to region even with the same vendor. An alternative it so buy a truckload of dirt from a landscaping company.

If your computer doesn't have a card reader built in you can get one for really short cash maybe $10-$20. Once you have that the SD card from your camera should show up as a Drive under "My Computer" if you have windows or right on the desktop if you have a Mac. From there you can just drag and drop the photos to wherever you like. I suggest creating a folder with the date the photos were taken so that you can find them later. Just remember all monitors are very smart, so you need to make sure you are ready for a monitor that gets big and is smart.

I just found an old Argus Showmaster 822T that is in near-mint condition and there was a tape next to it that looked used. I think that it used to belong to my grandfather, but I can't figure out how to recall any footage on the tape. Argus came back today ( he left me a coupe of days ago) because he forgot a few cans of dip at the trailer. Well I went to take a bath in the tin tub outside the trailer and when I got back in there was argus holding stinky in the kjitchen sink and there was a pot of boiling water on the stove. If i didnt get there on time he would have plucked his furr off. Why cant he leave stinky alone.

Next, you want to par boil the meat if you're going to pan fry him. It loosens up the muscles so he won't be so tough. If you're stewing him, make a squirrel gravy. I know it sounds weird, but possum gravy doesn't taste as good as squirrel gravy. Leaves too much game in the mix.

Otherwise, in the "review" function there should be a button to delete your photos one by one.
You could also plug in to your computer and delete them from your pc.

He wore a relatively normal trench coat with a button-down shirt, vest and tie underneath, belt and brown pants, normal shoes or boots.
The most important things you obviously have to have are a large keychain and keys on your belt loop, a big fluffy cat, and maybe even an oil lamp like he carried around. Also, a permanent scowl on your face. :)

I have an argus monitor who has not eaten in a week. I am going to take her to the vet tomorrow, but does anyone know why she would deny food? She is 3 yrs old and just recovered from phonomonia.Argus monitor not eating?

The Greek mythological origin is cool, but I don't think it has a very appealing sound in modern English. It's too close to "arg!" which people say when hurt or frustrated, as well as childish mocking terms like dorkus, fartacus, etc. I think a boy named Argus is apt to be teased when he goes to school, and it's not likely to help when he explains that he's named after a dude who (IIRC) got turned into a peacock for failing to adequately watch a god's mistress whom his wife had turned into a cow.What do you think of the name Argus?

Argus started all this because he wanted me to cook some slop, the usual chicken battered skin gravy and how leg stew. Stinky jumped on the counter and knocked the bowl of hot gravy and it spilled on argus's knee. He then grabbed stinky and threw him against the wall. It made stinky bleed. My cat doe doe still traumatized form being shaved last week meowed in distress then went back to sleep. Argus is demanding I get a boob job and unless stinky is tamed more he wants me to cook him up. Supposibly possum meat is good for you. I dont know what to do. Argus monitor terranium setup?
so my sister has an argus monitor and right now she has sand in there but she read it is not too good for them...instead we should put soil...it rained a little bit ago and the soil and grass is still wet

As far as a diggable substrate, go to the hardware store and buy plain topsoil and playground sand, mix them 50/50 and add a useable depth to the monitor set-up (two-feet), it should be less than $15, with gardening sales on now probably less than $10.

I am borrowing a friend's Argus C3. I have looked up information on it and it is from about 60 years ago. It seems to be working but I was just wondering if any of you fine people had some good advice for me. The Argus C3 is a great little antique camera. It's actually one of my favorite 35mm cameras. It's really old, boxy, heavy, and kind of awkward to use...but you just have to love it. It's VERY reliable, and it actually takes excellent pictures. It's very solid and reliable. I have never seen one that wasn't working. Seriously, every time I've found one in a thrift shop or antique shop, I've picked it up and everything still works. The shutter still fires. Do you think a cheap plastic digital camera will still be working 60 years from now? No way.
The Argus C3 is completely manual, so you'll have to learn how to use manual exposure control...but that's better anyway, so you can have more control and creativity with your pictures.
It does have little quirks though. One design flaw is that the shutter cocking lever is in a bad spot, right where you would normally put your fingers when you hold the camera. When you take a picture, the lever snaps back up. You have to be careful that your fingers don't get in the way. It won't hurt your fingers, but it will ruin the picture. If you wanted to, you can easily unscrew the lever and just screw it back on so that it's facing a different direction and it's not in the way.
The other little quirk is that you might need to adjust the rangefinder. With most of the Argus C3's I've bought on eBay and in antique shops, the rangefinder was out of alignment. The rangefinder of course is the little window that you look through to focus. You look through the rangefinder window and turn the dial until you see one clear image. But sometimes, the rangefinder gets out of alignment and you have to adjust the mirror a tiny bit. It's very easy to do, and if you want, just email me and I'll explain how to do it. If the rangefinder is accurate and you focus properly, you can get VERY sharp pictures with an Argus C3. I mean seriously, it will take razor sharp pictures that will amaze you. I bought my first Argus C3 in 2007...I adjusted the rangefinder when I first got it, and it's been fine since then.

The archros is a device that you can record direct from your TV onto the hard drive.
To be honest they are a waste of money i purchased one and and returned it days latter you have to buy extra cables for it and it will not record sky t.v.It will hold a lot of music on it but if you want that buy an mp3 player.

Yeah, it's called spray paint. And I'm not even kidding either. I know that sounds too stupid to be a serious answer, but I'm pretty sure they don't make "skins" for that camera. You could check, perhaps spend $50 bucks on one (if you even find it), and you'll have yourself a pink camera. Or, you could go to a craft store and buy a can of pink modeler spray paint for $2, and a roll of masking tape and do it yourself.

An Argus c3 is a 40-50 year old camera. It was nicknamed "the brick" for it's square brick like shape. It was also a very common camera. You're not going to find any skin kits for a camera that old, that hasn't even been manufactured for half a century. If you really need it pink, a can of paint is your only recourse. But you will be lowering what little value the camera has.

Yeah, it's called spray paint. And I'm not even kidding either. I know that sounds too stupid to be a serious answer, but I'm pretty sure they don't make "skins" for that camera. You could check, perhaps spend $50 bucks on one (if you even find it), and you'll have yourself a pink camera. Or, you could go to a craft store and buy a can of pink modeler spray paint for $2, and a roll of masking tape and do it yourself.

I have an argus quick cliz 1512. and I can't get it to cut off.?
I have no problem with taking pictures, I thought I had a problem with my batteries not holding a charge because every time I went to use my camera, I would have to change the batteries because they were dead. Finally I found out why they were always dead. My camera won't cut off. Well, it will cut off , and it says off but about 20 seconds later, it cuts back on. No reason why a camera should turn itself back on after being shut off with the proper switch.
Look in the User Manual and if there's no explanation, head off to your local Cliz dealer for service.

Unfortunately my father's bike got stolen in 2004 and it's dangerous for a girl to go cycling alone, so we stopped. I sort of lost the motivation to start training again, it will take too much hard work to get to the fitness level I was at then.

If so, I recommend the hide of a Mexican Red Rattler (sorta pink actually) or Mako shark (for water-proofing).
If a synthetic material is to be used I recommend purple because it's easier to find.
Being a carpenter by trade and this being an Argus C3, I personally would use cherry-wood veneer with thin stranded bamboo as moulding.I am going to re-skin a Argus C3 for my niece. Should it be done in pink or purple?
I think Leica did some limited-edition M models in gold plate and crocodile in the 70's or 80's. Try this; it looks inexpressibly vulgar, and also may just make bystanders mistake your niece for Princess Beatrice.
