In the Odyssey, when Odysseus finds Argus, is he a beggar?

By beggar I mean is he still in hiding from Ithica? Since Athena turned him into the beggar for disguise.In the Odyssey, when Odysseus finds Argus, is he a beggar?

no, i think that that was before he was turned into a beggar. but im not absolutely sure.
