the government does not charge money and ask for a credit card to verify anything (and charge you excessive fees in the process. The fact is, all those web sites offering to give you a lost of auctions are bogus, all that information is available free of charge, you have to do some basic research and you can find this information for free.
For the most part, there are not 500 dollar 10,000 dollar cars out there just waiting to be plucked by you. The reality is this, unless you own a dealership, and have a whole salers license, for the most part all you will find is crap at the auctions available. Private parties, and dealers routinely send cars that are crap to auctions to get rid of, sooner or later some sucker ends up with the lemon.
In a dealers world, car carriers haul either 8 big cars, or 10 small ones, It costs the same to send one car as it does the other 9. so a dealer may buy 10 small cars, for a few hundred bucks, in the hopes that even one or two turn out to be worth enough to make some good money, and send the crap bach through the auction next week.
To get on the auctions for what ever agency you want, you have to look online in the yellow pages, find the nearest agency to you, call and find out either a date for an auction, or get added to a mailing list that will notify you when an auction is. so state police, or sheriff, or city police, are all separate entities, contact each one, find out when an auction is, or how to get on a list. Same goes for Customs or Drug Enforcement. call, and get on the list, or ask for a date and time. Its simple, but you have to make a list of phone numbers, and call each agency separately. Pain in the butt yes, time consuming, not so bad, considering how many auctions are you going to go to anyway? In any case, do not give cc information to some greedy thieving internet rip off for free information.Need help on government car auctions PLEASE!!?
The web site you are looking at is a fraud. All they do is provide you with a listing of public auctions being held around the country, and they will charge $10 or more per month for the service. You cannot buy anything from this site.
