I am all for weight watchers. It has helped me be happy with my weight... and keep it off...
Good Luck!!!I exercise regularly..actually i love the gym..but what is a good nutritional diet...such as Atkins..etc...???
Any diet "works" if you spend more calories than you take in. But a lot of those diets don't give you all the nutrients and fiber you need to be healthy! It's all about calories in and out, and getting a balanced variety of foods. All you really need to do is eat small portions of meats and starches (think about the size of a deck of cards), and have as many fruits and vegetables as you want, and have some low-fat dairy every day too. Nothing fried like french fries or potato chips. And drink plenty of water! And the balance of the equation is that you get lots of exercise, 3 to 5 times a week. Start out just walking, walk everywhere and you will burn tons of calories!
Here's an example of a day's meals:
Breakfast: Small bowl of cereal with low fat milk, and a big handfull of blueberries.
Snack: Apple or non-fat yogurt
Lunch: Sandwich made with lean turkey meat, lettuce and tomato on whole wheat bread. Plus a few carrot sticks and baby tomatoes.
Snack: 6 Wheat crackers with a tiny smidge of peanut butter on them.
Dinner: A big salad made with a variety of vegies and lettuce, a handful of almonds, and low-fat dressing. A small portion of grilled chicken or fish. One slice of whole wheat bread (no butter!)
Evening snack: Cut-up banana with a teaspoon of chocolate sauce drizzled on top.
Keep a bottle of water with you all the time, and keep filling it up as you drink from it. Try to drink 4 1-liter bottles of water every day.

There is no such thing as a no carb diet. Even meat has some carbs, especially organ meats. I am on Atkins where I have a huge variety of fruit and veggies ( low carb of course ), and I eat meat, cheese, cream or half and half. I will leave links to some of my favorite, low carb sites which includes Atkins, Mediterrarean and Protein Power.I exercise regularly..actually i love the gym..but what is a good nutritional diet...such as Atkins..etc...???
You need to find the one that works for you. Do your research, find the one that makes sense to you and that you think you could stick to permanently.
For me, that is Atkins. For you, it might be something else.
I have been on Atkins and have lost weight but was not feeling well and could not keep it up. I found a weight loss diet lollipop that gives you energy and is all natural and I make better food choices. The lollipop supresses my appetite so I do not feel so hungry that I make a bad food choice. Eat balanced meals and try this lollipop. They also have a liquid vitamin that is amazing. You will feel so good and have 10 X's the energy! Go to www.candy4diet.com
