Mediterranean Breakfast menu?

I have been looking all over for what a traditional mediterranean breakfast menu would look like.

Do you know of any books or websites that would have this info? We would like to begin a mediterranean diet, but we need to know what to serve for breakfast!Mediterranean Breakfast menu?

The main goal of a mediterranean diet is non-processed, fresh, in season foods. Meat should be limied and should not be eaten alone. Lots of veggies and fruit and fish - the key is what is in season.

Breakfast could be fruit in season. If it's the winter or spring there will be lots of citrus to choose from. Begin your breakfast with fresh fruit. You can choose from coffee or tea, but in the morning. This will be accompanied by some fresh bread (one slice鈥emember you are on a diet!), with some natural honey. Cheese is also served. This whole breakfast is less than 250 calories, and you will feel full and start your day off well.Mediterranean Breakfast menu?
Fruits and veggies in season with lean proteins and keep the carbohydrates to a minimum and try to use whole grains rather than white bread or potatos. For instance fruit and yogurt with a whole grain bagel, toast or granola. Lowfat or vegan cream cheese or nut butter. Lowfat sausage or vegetarian breakfast "meat". A mixture of sauteed peppers with tomatos and onions. A frittata which is an oven baked egg dish with lots of veggies and a little cheese you could use egg beaters to keep the fat down.
they eat a lot of pastries--hardly ever any meat or eggsMediterranean Breakfast menu?
In mediterania they eat clumps of grass with the dirt still in it and sometimes worms and bugs and birds too.

-that sounds pretty stupid doesn't it... so does changing your diet to something you know nothing about on a whim.
