I want to be on a healthy diet, but I want a lifestyle change! Is there a guide as to what is good to eat and what to avoid? I don't want to go on some quick lose 30 pounds in a month diet. I mean a diet as in eating habits.I heard the Mediterranean diet is good for lifestyle changes, is this true? Any help will be greatly appreciated!What is a good, healthy diet?
Whole grains, fish, organic meat and dairy (moderate amounts), and tons and tons of fresh vegetables and fruit. Eat food that is as close to its natural state as possible. When you go grocery shopping, see if you can't stay strictly in the outer perimeter of the store (all the processed stuff is in the inner isles). Diet depends on the blood group, age, and nature of work. As a general rule, eat simple fresh food without any preservatives.
To have full value of what you eat, use all senses to eat food.
1. See Food (Observe the colors and ingredients)
2. Touch Food
3. Smell it.
4. Hear it (the sound of chewing it. means chew properly)
5. Taste it (Of course appreciate)
If you follow this, even smaller quantity of food will have more effect. Eat without any distractions like TV, newspaper etc.What is a good, healthy diet?
it says that a normal healthy diet should have 3 serves of dairy, 5 serves of veggies, 2 serves of fruit and 5 - 8 glasses [250ml] of fluids every day. i suggest if u don't eat much every day try combining to of the things so instead of having a glass of milk which covers 4 1 glass of fluid and a serve of dairy. remember to make at least %60 or so of ur fluids water, however if u don't find water all that tasty like me, have mineral water or flavored waters such as mi-zone. also try to go for the low fat foods such as philadelphia instead of butter of vegimite. but most importantly DO NOT SKIP MEALS and instead of having 3 big ones aim for 5 small ones. so breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. and remember to exersize for 30mins a day.
