im guessing they were owned by drug dealers or something, should i be hesitant to buy one because of this?
I dont really want a drug dealer (or murderer) after me because i bought the car. Ya knowWhat happened to government auctioned cars?
We have the auction every October in my city. The impounded automobiles from drug dealers are never a worry because the dealers just go get a new one when they get out. Most of them are generic automobiles so I D K if they would even notice it beside another one on the road. A majority of the purchasers are car dealers even though anyone can bid on them.
After the cars are ripped apart by the police department I try to put them back in some semblance of good condition as to increase the auction value.
I know just the perks of being a City MechanicWhat happened to government auctioned cars?
They still go on and are out there just check and see. I had a friend that bought one it was a very good deal! What happened to government auctioned cars?
Most of the cars come from people that owe the government money. Then some of them are seized from people involved in illegal activities. I've been to a couple of car auction and they've been cool. If you're worried about the drug dealers being after you because you bought their car you can always get a new license plate number and paint job.
