When can i sell off a government auctioned home?

I bought a foreclosed home from the government in Philadelphia about 3 years ago. I heard that before i am able to sell the property i must keep it for a certain time or i violate the terms of the contract. Id like to know how long must i wait before i can sell the property off in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Please help me as i can not find the info, your help will be greatly appreciated by me!

Thank you.

Read the contract. If you can't find a copy of the contract. read the deed. If there are no restrictions mentioned in the deed, you may sell it as you please. When can i sell off a government auctioned home?
I think you'd have to review the contract to determine if you are able to sell the property yet. But if you are in bankruptcy and behind on the house, you are going to wind up losing the house before you can sell it. Bankruptcies also void executory contracts. I would contact your bankruptcy attorney about this if I were you AND show the attorney the contract you have for the house.

You cannot sell your house while in bankruptcy without court permission. The trustee has the right to sell it on behalf of the estate if there is any equity in it which is why you need court permission.
