Am looking for any Mediterranean Diet Cookbooks you'd recommend?

Went to Barnes/Nobles, they didn't have any. I live alone %26amp; am not a big eater; just want to ensure what I DO eat is healthy. I naturally lean towards the Mediterranean Diet anyhow so I may as well start learning it. Do you have a cookbook you've personally tried %26amp; can recommend for me?

Thanx.|||"The Mediterranean Vegan Cookbook" has some really great dishes in it. I got it not because I am vegan, but because it had several of the recipes in it that I couldn't find but had eaten before. For example, the "Roasted Eggplant Salad" (Baba Ghanouj) is really good! The "Greek Currant Cake" is also really good as well!

It doesn't have photos in it (if that is important to you, you are going to be let down by that).

If your looking to use the book as part of a diet (to lose weight), would suggest that you reduce the fat content in the recipes by substitution of broth or water for the oil (can't do this in the cake recipes of course - all this suggestion within cookbook). Calories, protein, fat, carbohydrates, fiber, sodium, and cholesterol analysis for each recipe as well.

You might also like the "Meals in Minutes" section of the cookbook if you are a very busy person where time is premium.|||This is one of the best there is!!!

GoodFoodMAGAZINE

101 MEDITERRANEAN DISHES

Really good recipes and they are all ''TRIED-AND-TESTED''. You can find anything from Italian antipasti, light pizzas, salads, soups, tarts, dips, to fish, meat, vegetarian, traditional, even light deserts and hearty sweets. And every recipe has a nutrition breakdown to help you keep track of your calorie, fat, carb, fibre and salt intake!!!!

My absolute favorite cookbook!!! Good luck!!! :-)|||"The Sonoma Diet" By Dr.Connie Guttersen, R.D., Ph.D.|||hi, you can order a book from
