WHAT CAN U TELL ME ABOUT THE MEDITERRANEAN DIET, ESPECIALLY THE ONE FROM GREECE WHERE THEY CONSUME HGIH FAT?

Olive oil is the base of the mediterranean diet, that helps avoiding cardiadic diseases and is very healthy for many other reasons (vitamin E etc...). The "fat" of olive oil is actually good for you.

Greek diet has a lot of vegetables, pulses and greens (green beans, white beans, lentils, chicks, eggplants, tomatoes, zucchinis etc...), and of course fish.

Unfortunately today most greeks consume a lot of meat compared to our grandparents who used to eat red meat twice a month, or every Sunday... Now we usually have meat more than twice a week! We also have a great variety of cheese, that although is very tasty, it has a lot of fat.WHAT CAN U TELL ME ABOUT THE MEDITERRANEAN DIET, ESPECIALLY THE ONE FROM GREECE WHERE THEY CONSUME HGIH FAT?
Identical to Turkish. Doner (with the juices) is one particular favourite. Greeks are more into fresh fruit, crunchy salads, pulses (they 'mount' 'colonise' and 'devour' anything 'with a pulse') as well as 'belligerent orifices!' P.S. Your English is improving!WHAT CAN U TELL ME ABOUT THE MEDITERRANEAN DIET, ESPECIALLY THE ONE FROM GREECE WHERE THEY CONSUME HGIH FAT?

the so-called "mediterranean diet" is not fatty. It's based on olive oil, fish, bread grains and little meat
