Why is the mediterranean diet correlated with longevity in live span?
like what makes the mediterranean diet so healthy|||The doctors don't know, but the people in that area of the world seem to have a lower incident of heart problems.|||Americans became too prosperous too quickly. Due to the size of our country and marvelous climate, food became so common in the US that enjoying it has become central to our lives. The old joke goes that anything good in life is illegal immoral or fattening. We have our fill of delicious foods but many are unhealthy.|||That's largely a myth. It's not only the diet: also doing exercise and having healthy habits. The mediterranean diet includes olive oil, vegetables, fruits, nuts, wine, fish and meat, nothing incredible.|||My guess would be the high quantity of Omega 3 fatty acids in the diet, plus moderate quantities of Ouzo and wine.|||Red wine and olive oil, but good craft beer is an acceptable alternative!|||Lack of processed foods.
